Easter Decorations for the Office

u13898i.jpg

Easter, like Christmas, is a holiday with deep religious origins, but these days it is celebrated by all sorts of people, often in a secular fashion. Where it differs from Christmas though is that it’s not a holiday that has strong ties to decorations. While the baubles, tinsel and fairy lights are whipped out at the strike of 1 December, the spirit of Easter tends to be confined to Easter Weekend. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Getting a few days off work is worth a bit of pomp and ceremony, so bring that spirit into the office for the weeks leading up to Easter

Subtle beginnings

The Easter holidays tend to sneak up on many of us. Perhaps this is because the shops tend to keep the Easter marketing confined to stands of Cadbury’s Crème Eggs strategically placed at the checkout desk. Then suddenly everyone is asking you what you are doing for the Easter Weekend and you’ve totally forgotten that you’d agreed to spend it with your parents back when there were still fake snowflakes everywhere and you thought you’d have enough time to get out of it. So we advise to keep the decorations quite subtle in the weeks leading up to Easter, otherwise people might feel a bit alienated. Think tissue flowers and paper decorations in pastel colours, and maybe some streamers. We also love bunting as it adds that celebratory feel.

Step it up

In the final week before Easter as the weekend approaches, we suggest bringing a few extra Easter decorations into the office to help people get into the festive mood. Balloons are always fun, and we have a great selection of ‘Happy Easter’ balloons, or if you want to keep things a bit more understated, why not got for the Flower Garden Spring balloons. Whichever you choose, they will go superbly with our Easter Eggs balloon weights. We also have a variety of ‘Happy Easter’ banners, which will be sure to brighten up any office. If you’re having an Easter party for your staff on the Thursday before the weekend, (And why wouldn’t you?) don’t just send out a group email. Choose from our range of Easter Party invitations and put a personalised one on each employee’s desk.

The Easter Party

Nobody expects an Easter party to be all swinging from the chandeliers and making out with the mail boy in the copy room. We save those sorts of antics for the end of year parties. For Easter celebrations, tea and take is perfectly acceptable, so make it a really classy affair with artisan cupcakes and teas including Earl Grey, camomile, and masala chai. When it comes to the Easter party supplies - cups, plates and napkins, you are spoiled for choice with our online store. The main choice you will have to make it ‘Obviously Easter’ or ‘Subtle Soiree’. Whatever you choose, we have what you need. Then to add a real touch of class, give each of your staff members a personalised gift. Since Easter is all about indulging your sweet tooth, we like the idea of the custom made candy jars.
