Food and beverages

Set a long communal table with a crisp white tablecloth, and then add accents of colour with yellow checked napkins and your gorgeous sunflowers in charming white vintage jugs and vases.

Serve a selection of mouth-watering honey-inspired treats that aren’t sickly sweet.  Try honey and hazelnut cupcakes, honey and banana bread, honey soy chicken wings and cheddar sandwiches with pickles and honey mustard. 

As for cocktails, there are so many sweet options! Try this happy concoction of 4 parts brandy, 2 parts grapefruit juice and 1 part runny honey.  Pour the brandy, juice and honey into a shaker. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake until very cold. Strain the drink into a chilled cocktail glass.

Favours and gifts

Give each guest a gorgeous little ‘Meant to Bee’ beehive-shaped honey pot with a wooden dipper and little yellow-and-black bees zooming around - a favor dripping with charm and practicality!  Or send your guests home with a little honey-infused soap or hand cream.
