Fiery Red with Diamonds in the Dark Wedding

A red hot theme this summer is fiery red and black sparkling in the dark with diamonds.

Colour

Choose a simple but striking dark red and black combination, but accent with sparkling diamonds everywhere.

Décor and styling

Set your tables with black tablecloths and fiery red table runners.  Add to this backdrop tall black ceramic pots or vases with tall red painted willow.  Strings of ruby red Singapore orchids hanging the willow branches will look like butterflies dancing in the dark.  Add glimmers of light with red and black tea lights adorned with sparkling diamante bands.  Finish your look with black chair covers and red satin sashes.

Favours

For a simple and symbolic favor, scatter red chocolate hearts on each table.  Or, for a take home treat, fill black noodle boxes with chocolates and sweets.  Tie the boxes with red ribbon and add a personalised tag.

Flowers

Choose roses, roses, Singapore orchids and asiatic liliums in the deepest of reds.

Wedding attire

Bridesmaids will look stunning in black dresses with red satin shawls, or red dresses accented with black jewellery.  For the bride, dare to be different with red or black patent shoes for the evening.

Do some online research and uncover your family crest; use it throughout your stationery, including your wedding invitation, ceremony booklets, place cards, table numbers, menus and seating charts.
