Celebrate the Chinese New Year with food honouring wealth, happiness and good fortune.  Try these twists on traditional Chinese recipes, created by Cinnamon Catering.

Starters

Blue swimmer crab salad with green pawpaw, lime and crispy wontons
Traditional chicken and sweet corn soup

Main courses

Chinese char siu grilled lamb chops with steamed bok choy
Seared swordfish with a soy ginger glaze
Chilli pork and peanut stir fry with green beans
Serve with jasmine rice and Chinese green tea

Dessert

Sticky date tart with lychee jus

Cocktail

Green Tea Martini

Green Tea Martini cocktail recipe

Ice
1 oz green tea, chilled
2 oz citron vodka
1 teaspoon Cointreau
1 teaspoon sugar syrup
Orange twist

Fill a shaker with ice. Add green tea, vodka, Cointreau and sugar syrup. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with orange and serve.
