Everywhere I look I am being blinded by the flash of new engagement rings. There is much excitement and merriment with family and friends all recently announcing their engagements. It is wonderful I mean who doesn’t love an engagement and the wedding that follows right? Some proposals have been a complete surprise and others we have had a feeling that something was about to happen. But overall next year is going to be a busy year for my family and friends with weddings to plan and attend.read more »
As Spain’s Duchess of Alba busted out a bare-foot flamenco dance in a salmon pink, calf length designer dress, her new husband Alfonso Diez watched from the side with the other wedding guests. She was celebrating her love and marriage to a handsome man and all but two of her six children from her first marriage were in attendance – BUT there is more to it than the flamenco…read more »
“Hi, I’m Kate and welcome to my home. Thanks for coming to my party today”. A simple introduction for a simple girl. However, Kate is no longer a simple girl. I have to say that I am a fan of Tori Spelling. I have never watched an episode of Beverley Hills 90210 (as my parents thought it was not appropriate for me), I came to know of her through her television series that followed her through popping out and raising babies, writing books and just recently her adventures into wedding planning. She is a certified celebrant! I grew to like her spunky attitude.read more »
In the next instalment of the Twilight movies, Bella and Edward finally tie the knot. Twi-hards all over the world have been eagerly awaiting the wedding although I think most are hanging out for the honeymoon. I have seen the photos and whoa! Feathers everywhere!read more »
Something I have noticed about Australian Celebrities is when it comes to their weddings; they tend not to give too much away. It can make it tricky for someone like me who loves to write about weddings from the ceremony, reception, decorations and gifts as I have to try and dig a little deeper to learn as much as I can about their big day. Many will release a few photos and talk about the ceremony itself but the reception is usually hush hush.read more »
