As the leaves begin to fall and the air begins to chill, delight your senses with food that reflect the glory of autumn, with rich, golden colours and deep flavours.  Cinnamon Catering provides some menu inspiration for entertaining in autumn.

Starters

Anchovy and olive tapenade on cheese tartins
Swiss brown mushroom cups filled with hazelnut and macadamia pesto
Mediterranean kofta with minted yoghurt dip

Main courses

Lobster bisque
Pepper crusted roast beef tenderloin, served on beetroot and sweet potato salad

Dessert

Sweet ricotta mousse with berry compote

Cocktails

Apple Cider Martini

Apple Cider Martini cocktail recipe

2 oz Apple Cider
2 oz vodka
1 oz brandy
1 oz triple sec
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp superfine sugar
1/2 tsp brown sugar

Combine all ingredients in blender for a few seconds, then pour into a shaker with crushed ice. Shake and pour into a martini glass. Garnish with thin slice of apple (soaked in lemon water to preserve colour) and a cinnamon stick.
